what can i visit in st.peterburg?

this summer i'm planning to spend few weeks in st.petersburg. i've never been there before.
Can you recommend me some places of great interest there, what should be my priorities while being in this city?

You should definetely visit Pushkin (Zarskoye Selo) - a suburb of St.Pete there the summer residence of the Zars was.
Very beautiful in summer!

Maybe visit the Mariinskiy theater. I can try to check the summer program for it if you are interested.

Hermitage, especially the golden chamber.
