Hello,
I am very interested in Russia and it's language. I hope to travel to Russia someday when I have sufficiently learned the Russian language. If you live in Russia or have traveled there, could you please post your favorite places to visit. I seem to recall a very nice island or town in the Ukraine, but it is just a vague memory and I don't really remember where. Thank you for your posts. -Xefpi |

Sorry for posting this so late... I hope you still visit this board!
Anyway, in my mind, the best place to learn Russian is in Russia. Don't be intimidated. St. Petersburg State University and Moscow State University both offer excellent programs for complete beginners (all the way up to advanced). The classes are guaranteed to be small, maybe three, four or five students to a teacher. They'll get you speaking in no time. ![]() Dave |
