has anyone flown on Aeroflot from Chicago to Moscow? I'm really interested in visiting Russia but I am amazed by the limited airline service to Russia. Aeroflot's flights from the U.S. are mostly 2 or 3 x a week except for daily service from NY. And Delta one has one flight daily from JFK to SVO. Does anyone know if this is due to limited demand or bilateral air-service agreements between U.S. and RUssia?
-Thanks- |

I think it has to do with supply and demand. Only larger planes(require more passengers), which can travel farther, most flights to russia have a layover somewhere... easier to fill planes if passengers are coming from around the world, on smaller jets, and stopping at a hub.. then going to moscow.
Hope it helps ------------------ With a little research, anything can be discovered. |

I've got a flight scheduled in March From Chicago to Moscow. From Chicago to Stockholm will be on American Airlines, then once in Stockholm, I'll change to Aeroflot for the last leg to Moscow. I know that there was more than one US airline that would go to Stockholm, then a switch to Aeroflot from there. United Airlines was also one of my options into Stockholm.
