What is RSS? RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an XML-based format for sharing and distributing Web content, such as news headlines or blog articles. Using an RSS reader, you can view data feeds from various sources, such as Russia.com, including headlines, summaries and links to full stories.

How do I access RSS? RSS Readers/Aggregators will download and display RSS feeds for you. A number of free and commercial Readers/Aggregators are available for download. Many aggregators are separate, "stand-alone" programs whilst other services will let you add RSS feeds to a Web page.

To view one of the Russia.com feeds in your RSS Reader:
1. Copy the URL/shortcut that corresponds to the topic that interests you.
2. Paste the URL into your reader
